The Sweet - Live At The Marquee (1989)

Un registro en uno de los teatros más importantes de Londres, reservado solo para bandas consagradas y de gran calidad...

Es The Sweet nuevamente, en un registro de 1986, pese a que saliera a la venta como álbum en 1989... no cuenta en sus filas con Brian Connolly ni Steve Priest, así que los más puristas podrían decir que no es Sweet propiamente tal... de todas formas es un recital soberbio, con interpretaciones magníficas de clásicos de esta banda como "Love is like oxygene" (con la sección "Fanfare for the common man" en la parte del solo), "No you don't" o la inmortal "Ballroom Blitz"...

Dentro del line up de este recital los Sweet cuentan con el gran vocalista Paul Mario Day (primer vocalista de Iron Maiden, lo cual no es menor) y con otros músicos sesionistas que dan a la ejecución de esta banda un ambiente y un tecnicismo digno de monstruos como Andy Scott y Mick Tucker (QEPD)...

hay un detalle... cuando comprimí el archivo puse que era del año 78... ahí uds le cambian el nombre a la carpeta no más xD... ahora disfruten este tremendo concierto amigos...

Aquí la discografía de una de las primeras (si no la primera) bandas de Glam... es Hard Rock puro...

Comienzan como banda "Bubblegum", siendo reunidos por la pareja Chin-Chapman, de reconocida carrera como máquina de componer

hits radiales... más tarde, recién tomando en cosideración el enorme potencial con el que contaban, los miembros de la banda

comienzan a componer sus propias canciones hasta llegar a dejar a los antedichos compositores...

Clásicos como "Ballroom Blitz" y "Fox On The Run" de la era "Bubblegum, pasando por el Hard Rock de canciones como "Set Me
